Desert Multimarathon

 ICMG is pleased to announce that we are a major sponsor of an impossible human challenge which is to raise money for a very worth while cause “BREAST CANCER RESEARCH”.

 

On the 1st July 2010 four dedicated Athletes will attempt to run 15 marathons in 15 days across Australia’s driest desert to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

This will be the first attempt to run across the Simpson Desert along three states. Running a total of 650km, the runners will endure temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to -10 degrees Celsius over 1,300 sand dunes. All in an effort to raise money for the research into the prevention, detection and treatment of Breast Cancer.
